Dr.Sabrina Silins, R.Ac, TCMD

Graduating in 2003 from the Alberta College of Acupuncture and TCM in Canada, Sabrina finished her training at the Huang Zhou University in China where she immersed herself in both east and west healthcare philosophies. Following graduation she was mentored by, and eventually practiced along side Dr. David Chu, specializing in complimentary Cancer treatments. In recognition for her skill and professionalism she is also employed as an examiner for the Government Licensing Exam for all new Acupuncturists in Alberta.

Recognizing the importance of Body, Mind and Spirit in healthcare, Sabrina is an advocate for getting back to the basics.  From valuing foods sources, to balancing work with play, to nurturing our relationships, to ultimately “Following Your Bliss” as Joseph Campbell defines it. She strives to support the individual so the body can do what it does best, heal itself.

Following a successful 6 year clinical practice she is now sailing the high seas on Norwegian Cruise Lines as one of the top five Acupuncturist’s on cruise ships world wide, educating guests about the benefits of Chinese Medicine and thoroughly enjoying her time with a few friendly sea turtles. She has hopes to continue her sabbatical with further studies in Africa, Taiwan and Sri Lanka before opening her own center in Canada where individuals will receive care regardless of socio-economic status.

Chinese Medicine offers a wide range of support to individuals seeking care. Sabrina's area of specialty include Addictions, GI disturbances, Depression, Anxiety and Gynecological imbalances. Understanding the connection between all creatures great and small, Sabrina continues to dedicate her life to the betterment of herself and the community around her.
